Quang Nam is located in the middle of central Vietnam and is surrounded by the cities of Da Nang, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Ngai and Kon Tum. The Truong Son mountains, Laos and the East Sea are also bordered by the province.

GDP growth rate in 2018: 7.88%

Up to now, Quang Nam has 220 FDI projects with total investment capital of nearly 6.1 billion USD.
